Drop in centre

Unfortunately, due to financial restrictions, we have had to suspend our popular drop in centre. We are keeping it under constant review and hope to start again in the future. Watch this space!

Advice & signposting

 

Through our links with partner agencies we are able to signpost our clients to a support service that will be the most appropriate for their needs.

We do have support services that are on hand during the times the drop in is open. Clients are free to approach them and ask for advice.

​

Our own volunteers are always on hand if anyone needs to chat and will where possible and appropriate offer advice.

​

Clients can talk to the team in confidence and we will not pass on information we hear unless we have a duty under the law to report it. If this does occur we will always tell the client that we must report it.

In the pipeline

 

We are always looking at ways of expanding the services we offer and have identified the need for a money management course which can be offered to clients and delivered in either a group or one to one setting.

​

Another identified need is for clients to have the support of a 'friend'  or advocate when they face a crisis and need someone to 'stand up' for them when they face officialdom. We are looking at the best way to achieve this.
